Dahl Jensen puma figurine no. 1019 porcelain figurine 31 cm

Dahl Jensen figurine no. 1019 depicts a reclining puma or mountain lion in a calm, alert moment. The long body, the tense forelegs, and the curved tail give the figurine a fine balance between strength and calm, while the gaze and the turn of the head add life to the motif. It is a porcelain figurine that appeals to collectors of Danish animal figurines and to you who would like to decorate with classic Scandinavian design with character.

The figurine was made by Jens Peter Dahl Jensen for Dahl Jensen, and it is precisely his animal motifs that are known for their assured modelling and natural movement. Here, the puma's slender form is rendered with soft transitions and an underglaze that emphasizes the body's muscles and the subdued colour shifts in the fur. The brownish and grey shades, the light areas at the chest and paws, as well as the glossy surface give the figurine depth and a lively expression from several angles.

As interior decor, this Dahl Jensen puma fits beautifully on a shelf, a side table, or in a display cabinet, where it can stand alone or be combined with other porcelain figurines with animal and nature motifs. It also works well as a gift idea for collectors of Danish porcelain, art deco-inspired figurines, or works by Jens Peter Dahl Jensen. When choosing older porcelain with history, you also gain the pleasure of giving durable craftsmanship new life in the home.

Model number 1019 is an important detail for collectors, and the figurine is also referred to as puma or cougar. The stated size makes it a striking figurine with a clear presence, without appearing heavy in expression. It is a piece of Danish porcelain art that combines decorative value with collector interest.
