Dahl Jensen salmon figurine DJ1379 in porcelain 23 cm

Dahl Jensen salmon figurine no. DJ1379 is a lifelike fish figurine in porcelain, modelled by Jens Peter Dahl Jensen. The motif shows a salmon in motion across a stony base, and the figurine has a lively expression with an open mouth, defined fins and a beautiful, rhythmic scale decoration. The blue, grey and white shades emphasize the maritime character and give the figurine depth, so that it appears both calm and energetic at the same time.

It is precisely the fine balance between naturalism and decorative formal language that makes Dahl Jensen figurines sought after among collectors of Danish porcelain. Here the surface is executed in underglaze, which gives the colours a smooth and durable finish. The long, slender body and the slightly curved posture emphasize the fish's movement, while the stone-shaped base brings the composition together in a way that makes the figurine suitable as both a collector's item and a decorative detail in the home.

A porcelain figurine like this fits beautifully in a bookcase, a display cabinet or on a shelf, where its shape and glaze can really come into their own. It is also ideal for those who collect animal figurines, fish figurines or Danish porcelain from Dahl Jensen. As a gift idea, it has character and personality, especially for someone who appreciates nature motifs, Nordic design and figurines with a more distinctive motif than the classic bird and dog figurines.
