Royal Copenhagen penguins figurine 2918 by Theodor Madsen

Royal Copenhagen figurine 2918 with penguins is a classic porcelain figurine that combines a nature motif and Danish porcelain craftsmanship in a calm and cohesive expression. The two penguins stand closely side by side, and the figurine has a fine balance between the simple, the lively, and the decorative. The motif makes it ideal for you who are fond of bird figurines, Scandinavian design, and porcelain with character.

Theodor Madsen has given the figurine a natural and observant form, where the penguins' upright bodies, narrow beaks, and slightly different postures create life in the expression. The glossy glaze and the subdued colour scheme in white, grey-blue, and darker blue tones emphasise the figurine's calm appearance. The light feet and the smooth surfaces also give the figurine a soft and harmonious overall impression, which fits beautifully into both classic and modern homes.

As a Royal Copenhagen porcelain figurine, this model is also interesting for collectors, not least because figurine number 2918 makes it easy to identify. The underglaze decoration is an essential part of the figurine's quality and gives it a lasting and carefully crafted expression. It is precisely the type of porcelain many choose to bring history, craftsmanship, and personality into the interior.

The figurine works beautifully on its own on a shelf, in a display cabinet, or as part of a collection with other animal figurines and bird figurines from Royal Copenhagen. It is also an ideal gift idea for collectors, nature lovers, or for the person who appreciates older porcelain with soul. Choosing a figurine like this is also a way to give fine craftsmanship new life and let a piece of design history continue in a contemporary home.
