Royal Copenhagen Boxer dog figurine no. 3634, 14 cm

Royal Copenhagen boxer dog figurine no. 3634 is a characterful porcelain figurine that captures the breed's alert posture and strong silhouette with great confidence. The figurine is modelled as a standing boxer with raised head, upright neck and springy body, so the expression appears both calm, attentive and full of presence. The warm brownish shades and the darker, brindled markings give the figurine life, while the light chest and the glossy glaze create fine contrast.

Holger Christensen designed this dog figurine for Royal Copenhagen with an eye for both anatomy and personality. This can be seen in the defined muscles, the short tail, the upright ears and the characteristic head, which make the boxer easily recognisable. The underglaze gives the surface depth and a soft transition in the colours, and it is precisely the combination of naturalism and classic porcelain craftsmanship that makes the figurine attractive to both collectors of Royal Copenhagen and dog lovers with a fondness for the boxer.

A porcelain figurine like this fits beautifully in the display cabinet, on the shelf or as a personal detail in the home, where it adds warmth and history. It is also an obvious gift idea for someone who appreciates dog figurines, Danish design and older quality objects with soul. Vintage porcelain like this is made to last a long time, and it is a special pleasure to give a well-executed piece of decorative art new life in a contemporary interior.
