Royal Copenhagen Boy June month figurine no. 4528

Royal Copenhagen month figurine no. 4528 depicts a boy in June and has a calm, narrative expression that makes it easy to love. The figurine is designed with a cap, blue sweater with white collar, dark shorts, light knee socks and shoes. In his hands he carries a bag and a folded piece of clothing, which gives the motif a fine sense of everyday life, movement and the light mood of the summer month.

As a porcelain figurine, it has the classic character many collectors associate with Royal Copenhagen. The blue shades and the underglaze decoration emphasize the figurine's calm expression and give the surface depth and gloss. The motif is simple, but full of personality, and precisely that type of child figurine has a special place among collectors of Danish porcelain figurines and month figurines.

The figurine is designed by Hans H. Hansen, and this is evident in the assured modeling of the face, posture and clothing. It fits beautifully among other Royal Copenhagen child figurines, but can also stand alone on a shelf, in a display cabinet or on a ledge, where it adds a touch of Danish design history to the home. For many, it is also ideal as a gift for a collector or for someone who has a special connection to the month of June.

Older porcelain figurines like this have a charm that cannot be mass-produced. They bring history, craftsmanship and personality into the interior and are at the same time a sustainable choice when beautifully executed design is allowed to live on from generation to generation. That makes this Royal Copenhagen figurine more than decoration - it is also a small piece of cultural history.
