1990 Bing & Grondahl Mother's Day plate with the title Hen with Chicken was designed by Leif Ragn Jensen The motif of the 1990 Bing & Grondahl Mothers Day plate shows a hen with her chicken. The first couple of weeks after the birth the chicken need warm from their mother. When the hen is going to teach the chicken about food she cluck and prick in the soil. The Bing & Grondahl Mothers Day plates were started in 1969 and are still being continued with a new Mother's Day plate every year.
