About the product

1980 Royal Copenhagen jubilee plate, designed by Sven Vestergaard and decorated under the glaze. This 1980 Royal Copenhagen plate was made to celebrate that on March the 1st. 1780 - five years after Royal Copenhagen was founded - the very first retail shop was opened, after having received the Danish King's approval. This very first shop was placed in the factory's property in Copenhagen. The low-relief motif of the plate is hand-cut and finished in Royal Copenhagen's distinctive blue colouring by the hand of skilled craftsmen. This plates is a limited issue.
