About the product
Edvard Jensen, who designed 1986 Bing & Grondahl Christmas plate, chose the title Silent Night Holy Night for the plate. The motif of the plate is Sollerod Church, a village church to the north of Copenhagen, dating back to the 12th century. The church was enlarged and rebuilt several times since then. In the snow we see footsteps, probably from the churchgoers who attended the service in the afternoon of Christmas eve.
