In Denmark

We mainly send by GLS. Shipping is free for orders over DKK 999 (except for furniture and similar large items). For orders under DKK 999, shipping and insurance costs will be added.

Other Countries

For deliveries outside Denmark, we send by FedEx, UPS, or GLS. Shipping and insurance costs will be added to the order.

In general

The total price, including shipping and insurance, will always be shown in the cart before you make any payments. The same applies when we send you an offer.

You can also save freight cost by collecting your order at our shop in Odense, Denmark.

Important!: Due to different legal requirements and standards for electrical appliances outside the EU, we only sell our lamps and lighting items to countries within the EU.

Delivery terms

There are two categories for the delivery of goods:

1. Delivery of items in stock
2. Delivery of customized/special ordered items and items not in stock

Delivery of items in stock

All items with an in stock status are items we have registered in our warehouse.

These items are typically shipped immediately (within 1-4 business days). Once we have confirmed your payment, you will receive an order confirmation from us.

If the delivery time is longer than usual (e.g., for large orders), we will inform you.

Please Note:
"Delivery time" refers to the time from order confirmation until the order is shipped from DPH Trading, not the time from placing the order to receiving the item.

Delivery of customized/special ordered items and items not in stock

Custom-ordered and special items, as well as items not in stock, are items we do not currently have stored in our warehouse.

We receive new items daily, which we purchase from other merchants, private collectors, estates, etc. This means we depend on various suppliers, dealers, and collectors, so delivery times for custom or out-of-stock items are always considered approximate.

There can be three reasons for this status:

1. The item is from one of our suppliers and needs to be produced first. This usually applies to lampshades, flatware accessories, or similar items.
2. The item has been specially ordered for you and needs to be produced first. All custom-ordered items are delivered as close to the agreed date as possible. Please note that the right of withdrawal may be forfeited for specially manufactured items.
3. The item is an old collectible that may need to be sourced from private collectors. We never know what we will be offered or when we will be offered it, but if we see that many have signed up on the waiting list for the item, we will make an extra effort to restock it as soon as possible.

In some cases, it may be impossible for DPH Trading to predict the exact delivery time of goods as we depend on when they are offered to us. It is also not possible to provide the sales price in advance, as we do not know the purchase cost due to supply and demand.

DPH Trading may reserve the right to deliver part of or the entire order at different times. Partial deliveries may occur. Regardless, we always strive to inform you quickly and efficiently about any changes or divisions in deliveries.

In extraordinary situations, it may be possible to negotiate that the buyer is not responsible for any additional shipping costs associated with partial deliveries.

Collect your items at our shop

If you prefer to collect your order at our boutique in Odense, Denmark, you are very welcome to do so.

When you collect your order in person at our shop, shipping costs are free. A visit to our store also gives you the opportunity to experience our amazing selection of items on display.

Can DPH Trading Deliver Outside Denmark?

Yes, we can! At checkout, you can select the country where you would like your items to be delivered. You choose the delivery country in step 2 – “Shipping and Delivery,” before you review and confirm your order. If you would like delivery to a different address from the billing address, simply check the box for an alternative delivery address.

On all product pages and at the top of the shopping cart, you can choose to view prices based on delivery within or outside the EU.

All Goods Are Delivered Ex Warehouse (Ab Lager)

"Ex warehouse" means that you, the buyer, pay for shipping and any insurance. You (the buyer) assume the risk for the goods from the moment DPH Trading (the seller) makes the goods available to you at the agreed location.
