Porcelain bells include both Annual bells and Christmas bells. The two large Danish porcelain factories, Royal Copenhagen and Bing & Grondahl, have both released series of Christmas bells, which today have many collectors both in Denmark and abroad.

Many other manufacturers have also produced annual and Christmas bells. Among these are Swedish Rorstrand, Desiree, Goebel, who has also produced a series of table bells with Hummel's sweet children, Hackefors, Norwegian Porsgrund, Austrian Steinböck with colorful enamelled bells, German Tettau, Hutschenreuther and Tirschenreuth.

The Christmas bell is a very popular Christmas motif that leads the thought of the large church bells that ring Christmas in and call people to mass. Royal Copenhagen and Bing & Grondahl Christmas bells are classic blue that match the Christmas plates and share motifs with these.

Bing & Grondahl Annual bells were a series of bells with motifs of famous churches and shrines, published in the period 1974-1987. The series consisted of large porcelain bells with the motif painted in gold. The porcelain bells match the shape of Royal Copenhagen Christmas bells, which were released from 1992 and continues today. Bing & Grondahl has released Christmas bells since 1980 and continues today. Like Royal Copenhagen Christmas bells, Bing & Grondahl Christmas bells also match the motif from the Christmas plate, so they together with the Christmas drops form a set.

But it's not just Royal Copenhagen and Bing & Grondahl that have made Christmas bells. Rorstrand has made Christmas bells for their beautiful series of Christmas poetry, which also exists as Rorstrand Christmas plates. Christmas poetry bells are very colorful and beautiful. They are suitable for those who like many bright colors in their decor. The motifs are colorful representations of the gospel.

Rorstrand has also made a number of small Christmas bells in sets of two with cute Santa and Christmas motifs that suits the Christmas tree very well. The motifs on these little Christmas bells are fun and will certainly be fun for the children.

Hutschenreuther Christmas bells stand out by being colorful with fun motifs that set a very special Christmas mood. The motifs on Hutschenreuther's Christmas bells are by the Danish artist Ole Winther and match the motifs on the Hutschenreuther Christmas plates.

Tettau Christmas bells are a more traditional series of white Christmas bells with blue motifs. The motifs are classic Christmas motifs with snowmen, Christmas stars and children enjoying the Christmas season in the snow.

Until now, we have talked about hanging bells, which can be used for decoration on the Christmas tree etc., but it is not the only type of bells that have been produced. There are also many different types of table bells. Table bells have a handle on the top so you can pick it up and ring it. It could be a colorful feature of the reception when guests arrive.

Goebel Annual bells are a nice series of bells in glass with small figurines as handles. They are very ornate and give a beautiful sound. Goebel also has a cute series of Hummel bells with the fun and cute kids that the Hummel brand is so famous for.

At the beautiful and colorful end we have Steinböck Annual bells made of enamelled metal. The bells are decorated in beautiful colors and patterns.

Hackefors Christmas bells are a series of Christmas bells that match the motifs of Hackefors Christmas plates. In addition to the Christmas bells in white and blue just like the Christmas plates, there were also Christmas bells with gold decoration and a series that is cobalt blue with the entire motif in gold. The motifs are the same on all the bells of each year.
