Bing & Grøndahl white kitten figurine no. 2504 or 504, 8 cm

This reclining kitten from Bing & Grøndahl is a porcelain figurine with a calm and present expression. The kitten lies relaxed with its head turned slightly to the side, as if it has just noticed something in the room. The glossy white glaze, the blue eyes, and the discreet details in pink and grey-brown shades give the figurine a soft and lively expression that makes it easy to love.

The motif is simple, but very finely observed. The large ears, the slender body, and the gently curved tail emphasize the cat's young age, while the calm posture gives the figurine balance and charm. It is precisely the type of animal figurine for which Bing & Grøndahl is known and appreciated among collectors of Danish porcelain: naturalistic, decorative, and executed with a sure sense of form.

As a porcelain figurine, it fits beautifully on a shelf, in a display cabinet, or as a small detail on a desk, bookcase, or chest of drawers. It is also ideal for you if you collect cat figurines, Bing & Grøndahl figurines, or classic Danish porcelain. Older porcelain figurines like this bring history and personality into the interior and are at the same time a beautiful choice for you who appreciate things that are created to be preserved and used through generations.

The current designation no. 2504 or 504 makes the figurine easy to identify for collectors and for those seeking this particular model. A small cat figurine like this works both as a gift idea for the cat lover and as a lovely addition to an existing collection of porcelain animals.
