Royal Copenhagen Santa Claus small Christmas figurine no. 042, 18 cm

Royal Copenhagen Santa Claus small Christmas figurine no. 042 is an atmospheric porcelain figurine that gathers much of what many associate with a classic Christmas. Here Santa Claus sits calmly in his high chair with the long wish list across his lap, while a small cat seeks attention by his arm. The motif has both warmth, presence and a narrative expression, which makes the figurine more than just Christmas decoration.

The red suit, the dark boots, the white beard and the chair's fine details create a classic Christmas figurine with a lively and recognizable expression. The long roll with visible writing gives the figurine character and emphasizes the story of Santa Claus in the middle of the preparations. The cat adds a homely and cozy detail to the motif, which makes the figurine extra charming in the Christmas display.

As a Royal Copenhagen Christmas figurine, this porcelain figurine fits beautifully into a collection of Danish Christmas decorations and porcelain figurines. It can stand alone as a decorative eye-catcher on a chest of drawers, in the windowsill or as part of a larger Christmas landscape with other elves, children and Christmas figurines. It is also ideal as a gift for collectors of Royal Copenhagen or for someone who loves classic Danish Christmas atmosphere in the home.

The Christmas figurine is made of porcelain and stated with underglaze, which supports the well-known, accomplished expression. The size of 18 cm makes it easy to place, while at the same time the motif gains good weight and presence in the interior. A figurine like this brings tradition, storytelling and Christmas atmosphere forward year after year.
