Bing & Grøndahl Fox Terrier figurine no. 1788 sitting dog

Bing & Grøndahl fox terrier figurine no. 1788 is a classic dog figurine in porcelain with a calm and attentive expression. The sitting fox terrier is modelled with an upright posture, a slightly turned head and fine, natural lines, which give the figurine life and presence. The dark markings at the head, back and tail stand out beautifully against the light glaze and emphasize the breed's characteristic appearance.

This porcelain figurine has a simple and well-balanced design language, which makes it easy to place in the home. It fits beautifully in a display cabinet, on a shelf or as part of a collection of Bing & Grøndahl animal figurines. The motif appeals to both dog lovers and collectors of Danish porcelain, and it is precisely the combination of lifelike modelling and underglaze decoration that makes the figurine a decorative choice with lasting appeal.

A sitting fox terrier like this also works well as a gift idea for someone who is fond of dog figurines, classic Danish design and porcelain with character. The figurine has a calm expression, but at the same time a clear sense of the breed's alert and lively temperament. This makes it suitable both as a standalone decoration and together with other animal figurines in porcelain.

At DPH - Danish Porcelain House, we value porcelain figurines that unite craftsmanship, history and enjoyment in use. Bing & Grøndahl dog figurines are known for their sense of form and atmosphere, and this fox terrier no. 1788 is a good example of a figurine that still adds personality and classic Danish porcelain art to the home.
