Royal Copenhagen Airedale Terrier dog figurine no. 3139

Royal Copenhagen Airedale Terrier dog figurine no. 3139 is a porcelain figurine with a calm, upright and characterful expression. The figurine shows the well-known terrier standing with raised tail, long legs and an attentive gaze, which gives it a lively presence in the interior. The warm brownish shades and the glossy glaze emphasize the dog's distinctive silhouette and the modelled fur structure on the body.

Theodor Madsen's dog figurines are appreciated for their confident formal language and ability to capture the breed's posture and temperament. Here, the Airedale Terrier is depicted with a fine balance between naturalism and simplicity, so that the figurine functions both as a classic piece of Royal Copenhagen porcelain and as a decorative collector's item for dog lovers. The underglaze execution gives the surface depth and a beautiful, durable expression.

As a vintage dog figurine, it also has the special charm that older porcelain brings with it. It is exactly the type of object that adds personality and history to the home, while also being a sustainable choice for you who prefer good craftsmanship with a long lifespan. The figurine fits beautifully in a display cabinet, on a shelf or as part of a collection of Royal Copenhagen animal figurines.

This Airedale Terrier is also an obvious gift idea for collectors, for the dog person or for the one who is fond of Danish design and classic porcelain figurines. The strict arrangement and the subdued colours make it easy to combine with both other porcelain, Nordic home decor and more personal still lifes.
