1971 Bing & Grondahl Mother's Day plate with the title Cat with kittens was designed by Henry Thelander. The motif of the 1971 Bing & Grondahl Mothers Day plated showed a cat with her kitten on the hayloft. The cat is moving the kitten around by wearing the kitten in its scruff of the neck. The Bing & Grondahl Mothers Day plates were started in 1969 and are still being continued with a new Mother's Day plate every year.
