Royal Copenhagen Boy with broom figure no. 3250 or 141

Royal Copenhagen figure "Boy with broom" is a classic children's figure in porcelain, where the everyday motif is captured with a warm and human gaze. The little boy stands in a blue romper suit and bonnet with the broom held behind his back, and the whole figure's expression contains the quiet charm that characterizes the best porcelain figures with children as the motif. The face is modeled with a thoughtful expression, which gives the figure life and personality.

It is precisely the simple story that makes this porcelain figure so appealing. The motif of boy and broom points to the play, duties, and everyday scenes of childhood, translated into porcelain with a soft and calm formal language. The blue and white shades emphasize the figure's classic expression and make it easy to place in the interior, whether it stands alone in a display cabinet, on a shelf, or together with other children's figures from Royal Copenhagen.

The figure is designed by Aage Erhardt and executed in underglaze, which suits the motif's calm character beautifully. Aage Erhardt is known for figures with presence and storytelling, and here it is seen in the fine balance between the child's posture, the discreet broom, and the calm facial expression. For collectors of Royal Copenhagen figures and for those who are fond of Danish porcelain design with history, this is a model with both decorative value and collector interest.

Older porcelain figures like this one have a special ability to add soul to the home. They are created to last a long time and carry a piece of Danish design tradition further into today's home. "Boy with broom" is therefore also an obvious choice if you are looking for a gift for a collector or wish to decorate with original figures that tell more than mass-produced decoration.
