Royal Copenhagen Santa of the Year 2002 Santa on a visit green

Royal Copenhagen Santa of the Year 2002 in green version is a charming Christmas figure that gathers the whole story of Christmas in one motif. Here stands Santa with a friendly expression, long white beard and green cloak, surrounded by gifts and small figures that give the scene warmth, nostalgia and plenty of Christmas atmosphere. In his hand he carries a green Christmas tree, and on the figure there are also toys and gifts, including a teddy bear, a small doll and an elephant, which make the motif vivid and detailed.

This porcelain figure is part of the popular Santa of the Year series from Royal Copenhagen. The series starts in 2001, and since then a new Santa has been produced every year. From 2021 onwards, a Mrs. Santa has also been added to the collection. This has made the series extra attractive to collectors, and there is great demand for these Royal Copenhagen Christmas figures.

Santa of the Year 2002 works beautifully on its own as Christmas decoration, but is also ideal for you if you collect Royal Copenhagen figures and would like to expand or complete the row of Santas. The green colour gives the figure its own expression and fits beautifully into both classic and more Nordic Christmas décor. Place it on a shelf, in a display cabinet or as part of a larger Christmas arrangement with other Christmas figures and Christmas plates.

Older Christmas figures like this have a special ability to create personality in the home year after year. It is precisely the type of quality design that many enjoy bringing out every December, because it connects tradition, the joy of collecting and the sustainability of using beautiful things through generations. For collectors of the Santa of the Year series, the 2002 edition can be an important figure in the collection, but it is also an atmospheric choice for anyone who loves classic Danish Christmas porcelain.
