Bing & Grøndahl figurine no. 2403 What Now boy with ball

Bing & Grøndahl figurine no. 2403 with the title What Now depicts a little boy in a thoughtful moment. He stands with a brown ball in one hand and the other hand brought up to his mouth, as if he is pondering, considering his next move or has just been interrupted in the middle of play. It is a child figure with a finely observed expression, where both posture and body language give the figure life and personality.

The colours are classic and calm with a light top, blue trousers and light brown hair and shoes. The simple colour scheme emphasises the motif's calm mood and makes the figure easy to place in the home, whether it is to stand in a display cabinet, on a shelf or together with other porcelain figurines from Bing & Grøndahl. The motif appeals to collectors of child figures, but also to you who appreciate porcelain art with humanity and storytelling.

The figurine is designed by Claire Weiss, who is known for creating figures with presence and sensitivity. Here it is the child's little pause, thoughtful expression and natural stance that make the expression so recognisable. It is precisely the kind of porcelain figurine that keeps catching the eye, because it contains a little story without overexplaining it.

As an older porcelain figurine, it also has the special charm that only quality workmanship with history can provide. Vintage figurines from Bing & Grøndahl add soul and personality to the home and are at the same time a sustainable choice for you who would like to give beautiful craftsmanship new life. What Now is also an obvious gift idea for collectors of Danish porcelain, child figures and classic decorative art with character.
