Bing & Grøndahl Boy with watering can figurine no. 546 or 2546

This Bing & Grøndahl figurine depicts a boy with a watering can and captures a calm, recognizable everyday scene full of charm. The motif has a lovely touch of garden joy and childhood, where the little boy stands ready with his watering can and a small hand trowel in his hand. It is a porcelain figurine that tells a quiet story of play, helpfulness and life close to nature.

The figurine is made of porcelain with underglaze and appears in soft, classic colors. The boy is dressed in blue overalls over a light sweater, and beside him stands the round watering can with the characteristic sprinkler head clearly modeled. The oval base neatly gathers the motif and gives the figurine a harmonious expression, which fits beautifully among other child figurines, porcelain figurines and classic Danish decorative art.

Bing & Grøndahl is known for figurines that capture small moments from everyday life with a great sense of form and atmosphere, and that is precisely the case here. Boy with watering can is an obvious choice for collectors of B&G figurines and for those who love porcelain with motifs of children, gardening and rural idyll. It also works really well as a gift idea for a garden lover, for the collector or as a personal detail in the home, where it can stand on a shelf, in a display cabinet or on a desk.

Older porcelain figurines like this have a special ability to bring warmth and personality into the home. At the same time, it is a beautiful way to choose quality and good craftsmanship with history over new production. A figurine like this can easily find new life in a modern interior and create a lovely connection between classic design, nostalgia and the sustainable joy of preserving things that are made to last.
