Johgus Bornholm reclining roe deer fawn ceramic figurine 7 cm

A reclining roe deer fawn from Johgus Bornholm has a calm and present expression that fits beautifully into both classic and more modern homes. The figurine is made of ceramic with brown glaze in warm, earthy shades, and the small body is modelled with a simple, soft design language that gives the motif life without seeming heavy. The upright ears and the slightly turned head add an alert and natural expression to the figurine.

Johgus is known for Bornholm ceramics with a sense for animal motifs, and this particular type of smaller animal figurine has a fine balance between decorative art and collector's delight. The reclining roe deer fawn appears decorative from several angles and is ideal on a shelf, in a bookcase, on a side table, or as part of a small arrangement with other animals or ceramic figurines. The modest size also makes it easy to place wherever one wants a quiet and atmospheric feature.

For those who are fond of vintage ceramics and older decorative art with history, this figurine is a charming choice. It bears the mark of the Danish tradition of creating things that are both decorative and durable, and that can still bring joy many years after they were made. Choosing an older ceramic figurine like this is at the same time a fine way to bring quality and personality into the décor with respect for good craftsmanship and reuse.

The figurine is also an ideal gift idea for collectors of Johgus ceramics, for those with a fondness for Bornholm, or for anyone who appreciates animal figurines in ceramic with a warm and natural expression.
