Johgus Bornholm ceramic dog no. 579 small figurine

Johgus Bornholm ceramic dog no. 579 is a small dog figurine with lots of personality. The sitting dog is modelled with pointed ears, a raised front paw and an alert expression, which gives the figurine life and character. The dark glaze with greenish variation and light areas creates a lively surface that emphasises the figurine's handmade character and makes every angle interesting to look at.

This ceramic figurine contains the special atmosphere that many associate with older Bornholm ceramics: warm craftsmanship, decorative simplicity and a form that still feels present in a modern home. As a vintage dog figurine, it adds both soul and history to the interior, whether it is placed on a shelf, in a bookcase, on a desk or together with other animal figurines and small ceramic collectibles.

Johgus Bornholm is known for ceramics that combine decorative art and characterful figurines, and this small dog no. 579 fits nicely into that tradition. It is ideal for the collector of Johgus ceramics, for the dog-loving giver or for you who appreciate Danish ceramics with a personal expression. Older ceramic figurines like this one are also a fine way to bring sustainability and good craftsmanship into the home, because beautiful things with history can continue to be used and enjoyed for many years.
