Johgus Bornholm ceramic dog no. 579 8 dachshund 10 cm

Johgus Bornholm ceramic dog no. 579 8 is a charming dog figurine with clear features of a dachshund. The long back, the short legs and the soft, hanging ears give the figure a calm and recognizable expression, which makes it easy to love. The glaze appears in muted green shades with a lively play in the surface, which emphasizes the figure's simple form and the artisanal character.

The figure has a stylish and earthy expression, which fits well into both a classic and a more modern interior. It works well alone on a shelf, in a bookcase or on a small table, but can also be combined with other ceramic figurines to create a personal collection with Danish design and Bornholm ceramics. Animal figurines from Johgus in particular have a special warmth about them, where the motif is simplified without losing its personality.

As an older ceramic figurine, this Johgus dog also contains the special joy that lies in choosing things with history and character. Vintage ceramics and decorative art give the home more soul and are at the same time a beautiful alternative to new production. For collectors of Johgus Bornholm, dachshunds or Danish animal figurines, model no. 579 8 is an obvious choice, but it will also be a fine gift for the dog lover who appreciates ceramics with an honest and timeless expression.

This ceramic dog figurine is a good example of why Johgus remains sought-after: a simple form, a recognizable motif and an expression that seems both decorative and personal without taking up too much space.
