Royal Copenhagen cat figurine 1803 white stoneware H 14 cm

Royal Copenhagen figurine no. 1803 is a characterful cat figurine in white stoneware with brown eyes, designed by A. Nielsen. The figurine has a calm, upright sitting posture and an alert expression, which gives it presence and personality. The simple white glaze highlights the cat's soft shapes, the defined ears, and the elegantly curled tail, which completes the silhouette in a fine and harmonious way.

It is a Royal Copenhagen cat that appeals to both collectors and those of you who appreciate classic Danish design with animal motifs. The expression is stylish, but not strict; the figurine contains both warmth and calm, and it therefore fits beautifully in everything from a display cabinet and bookshelf to a desk or windowsill. The white cat figurine is also ideal as a gift for the cat lover or as part of a collection of older figurines from Royal Copenhagen. Choosing a figurine with history is at the same time a way to bring solid craftsmanship and lasting quality further into a modern home.

The model is made as an underglaze cat figurine, and it is precisely the subdued colour scheme that makes it easy to combine with other porcelain, ceramics, and Nordic interior design. It appears decorative on its own, but also works well together with other animal figurines, where it adds a calm and classic expression to the collection. For many, Royal Copenhagen figurines are not just decoration, but small design objects with collector's value and enduring charm.
