Johgus Bornholm ceramic horse/pony no. 115, 16 cm

Johgus Bornholm ceramic horse/pony no. 115 is an atmospheric animal figure with the simple and earthy expression that many collectors and ceramic lovers associate with Bornholm design. The figure depicts a pony or small horse and fits beautifully among other ceramic figures, where the motif adds calm, warmth and a touch of Nordic nostalgia to the home.

Ceramic horse figures have a special appeal because they unite nature, craftsmanship and decorative weight in one and the same object. Here you get a figure from Johgus Bornholm, a name with a solid place in Danish ceramic tradition. It is ideal for those who collect animal figures from Bornholm, or who would like to decorate with authentic things that have history and personality. The compact size makes it easy to place on a shelf, in a display cabinet, on a chest of drawers or as part of a still life with other ceramic figures.

It is precisely older ceramic figures like this that have a charm that is difficult to find in new production. They were created in a time when form, motif and sense of material were allowed to speak for themselves. Choosing vintage ceramics is at the same time a beautiful way to give good craftsmanship new life. A figure like this can continue to create joy for many years and add soul to the décor, whether it stands alone or is combined with other animals, stoneware or small collector's items.

This Johgus horse/pony is also a lovely gift idea for collectors of Bornholm ceramics, for the horse lover or for the person who appreciates Danish applied art with character. The item number no. 115 also makes it relevant for collectors seeking specific model numbers from Johgus.
