Johgus Bornholm ceramic dog no. 576, 20 cm

Johgus Bornholm ceramic dog no. 576 is an atmospheric dog figurine with a calm, alert expression and a shape that immediately brings to mind the dachshund's characteristic silhouette. The long body, the short legs, the soft drooping ears and the slightly raised head give the figurine presence and personality, while the seated posture adds a fine, balanced expression. For collectors of Danish ceramics and animal figurines, it is a model that stands out with both charm and distinct character.

The glaze appears in muted, earthy shades with a beautiful play across the surface. In the pictures, a vivid, almost misty color transition can be seen between grayish, brownish and greenish tones, which emphasizes the figurine's ceramic expression and gives it depth from all angles. The shape is simple and soft, yet at the same time precisely modeled, so that the dog's build and calm nature stand out clearly.

Johgus Bornholm is known by many for ceramic figurines with warm, tactile surfaces and a special connection to Danish decorative arts. That is precisely why this dog figurine is also ideal for you if you appreciate older ceramics with history and wish to decorate with objects that have soul. A figurine like this adds personality to the home, whether it is placed on a shelf, in a display cabinet, or as part of a collection of Bornholm ceramics.

As a gift idea, it is also an obvious choice for the dog lover, the ceramics collector, or the person who appreciates Danish design with character. Older quality figurines like this deserve to be preserved and used on, and that is precisely what makes them a sustainable alternative to new production.
