Johgus Bornholm ceramic dog no. 577 - 7 cm

Small Johgus dog no. 577 is a charming ceramic figure from Bornholm with a calm and thoughtful expression. The figure depicts a seated dog with a bowed head, soft lines and long hanging ears, which give it a lively and present expression. The muted glaze in green and grayish shades emphasizes the figure's calm character and makes it easy to place in the interior.

Johgus Bornholm is known for ceramic figures with personality, and this small dog figure is a fine example of exactly that. The shape is simple and stylized, yet at the same time full of warmth. The round body, the slightly curved tail and the attentive seated posture give the figure a natural touch that appeals both to collectors of Bornholm ceramics and to those who simply love small decorative animals in the home.

As a vintage ceramic figure, it brings both history and character with it. It looks great on a shelf, in a bookcase, on a desk or as part of a small arrangement with other animal figures and ceramics from the Danish design tradition. The small size also makes it ideal as a gift for a dog lover or for the collector who appreciates ceramics from Johgus Bornholm.

If you are fond of ceramic dog figures, small animal figures and Danish decorative art with soul, this model is a fine choice. It has a calm formal language that makes it decorative both alone and together with other figures. At the same time, it is a beautiful way to give older quality ceramics new life in a modern home.
