Johgus Bornholm ceramic bear no. 23

Johgus Bornholm ceramic bear no. 23 is a characterful animal figurine with a calm and natural expression. The seated bear is modeled in a soft, rounded shape, where the slightly forward-bent posture and the powerful paws give the figure both weight and presence. The glaze appears in brownish and grayish shades with a lively, variegated play, which suits the motif and emphasizes the figure's organic surface.

This Johgus bear figurine fits beautifully into an interior with a focus on Danish ceramics, Bornholm craftsmanship, and small decorative objects with personality. The motif has a warm and earthy atmosphere, which makes the figure suitable both alone on a shelf, in a bookcase, or as part of a collection of animal figurines and ceramics from Bornholm. The calm posture also makes the figure ideal in a modern home, where it adds softness and character without seeming dominant.

Older ceramic figurines like this often have a special appeal because they carry history, design, and good craftsmanship forward into the present. That is precisely part of the joy of choosing ceramics with age and soul: you get a decorative figure that can still be used and enjoyed every day, while at the same time giving a quality product new life. For collectors of Johgus, Bornholm ceramics, or ceramic animal figurines, no. 23 is also a fine and recognizable model.

The figure is also an obvious gift idea for someone who is fond of bear figurines, Danish ceramics, or decorative art with a more classic and timeless expression.
