Johgus Bornholm ceramic bear no. 11

Johgus Bornholm ceramic bear no. 11 is a characterful animal figure with a calm, powerful expression. The bear is modeled in a low, forward-leaning position with its head close to the ground, as if it is busy sniffing its way forward. This gives the figure a clear sense of movement and presence, even though the form is compact and simple.

The dark glaze has light plays and nuances in the surface, which highlight the bear's broad back, pronounced shoulders and strong legs. From several angles, the figure is experienced differently, and it is precisely this sculptural quality that makes it interesting in the decor. It has a weight and an earthy expression that suits both modern homes and more classic collections of ceramics and decorative art.

As a ceramic figure from Johgus Bornholm, this bear naturally speaks to the interest in Bornholm ceramics, Nordic animal figures and older crafts with personality. The bear motif is interpreted without superfluous details, but with a great sense of posture and volume. This gives the figure a calm strength that makes it decorative on a shelf, in a bookcase, on a desk or as part of a collection with other animal figures.

Older ceramics like this often have a special ability to create warmth and identity in the home. They are decorative art and collectors' items with history, which can still find a beautiful place in today's interior design. For many, it is also a sustainable pleasure to choose quality ceramics that have already been created and can still be used and appreciated for many years to come.

Johgus Bornholm ceramic bear no. 11 is therefore an obvious choice for the collector, for the ceramics enthusiast or as a gift for someone who loves animal figures with weight, character and Bornholm charm.
