This 1965 Bing & Grondahl Christmas Jubilee plate was issued to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the first Bing & Grondahl Christmas plate in 1895. The motif of this 1965 Bing & Grondahl Christmas Jubilee plate is the same as the motif of the 1926 Bing & Grondahl Christmas plate. The title of this plate is Chruchgoers on Christmas Day. The Bing & Grondahl Christmas plate was designed by Achton Friis. The Bing & Grondahl Christmas Jubilee Plates were started in 1915 and are still being continued with a new Jubilee plate every fifth year which is manufactured in underglaze.
