Royal Copenhagen Santa of the Year 2001 green Christmas figurine

Royal Copenhagen Santa of the Year 2001 is the first figurine in the popular series of annual Santa figurines. Here, Santa stands calmly and upright in his dark green cloak with white fur trim, with a lantern in one hand and a horn in the other. Beside him is a small sack with a gift, and in front of his feet lies a pair of brown wooden clogs. The motif brings together classic Christmas elements in a figurine that exudes Nordic Christmas atmosphere and cozy December traditions.

This green Christmas figurine has a warm and recognizable expression, which makes it ideal as both Christmas decoration and a collector's figurine. The color scheme in green, white, brown, and golden shades gives the figurine a calm and traditional character that fits beautifully into Danish Christmas decor. As a porcelain figurine from Royal Copenhagen, it also has the kind of craftsmanship quality that many collectors and design enthusiasts appreciate.

The Santa of the Year series starts in 2001, and a new Santa has since been produced every year. From 2021 onward, a Mrs. Claus has also been added to the collection. That is precisely why the 2001 edition is particularly interesting, because it marks the beginning of a sought-after series of Royal Copenhagen Christmas figurines. They are very popular and there is great demand for these Royal Copenhagen Christmas figurines, both among collectors and among those who wish to build a personal Christmas tradition year by year.

The figurine works beautifully on its own on a shelf, in a windowsill, or as part of a larger Christmas display, but it is also ideal as the first figurine in a collection or as an important addition to an existing row of Santa of the Year. For you, who are fond of Christmas figurines with history, quality, and collector's joy, this is a charming porcelain figurine that can still bring joy to the home for many years to come.
