Hackefors Christmas plate / Christmas plate "Christmas" village motif, 1995

Hackefors Christmas plate 1995 is an atmospheric blue-white Christmas plate with the Danish text "Julen" at the top and the year 1995 at the bottom. The motif shows a quiet winter landscape with snow-covered houses, a church in the background and a bright star in the night sky. In the middle of the scene, a person can be seen making their way along the winding road through the snow, and at the front of the motif sits a hare, which gives the picture a calm and lively character.

It is precisely this kind of motif that makes a Hackefors Christmas plate so charming. Here you get both Swedish porcelain tradition and a classic Nordic Christmas story gathered in one piece of porcelain. The blue decoration is made in genuine cobalt, as known from Hackefors Christmas plates from the period, and the 1995 edition was also issued in a limited number. The motif for this edition was designed by Ragnar Carlsson, who is behind the Hackefors Christmas plates from 1977 to 1999.

On the plate is the Danish word "Julen". Together with the village, the church, the snow and the shining star, it creates a story of the quiet anticipation and solemn atmosphere associated with the Christmas season.
