Royal Tettau Christmas plate 1972, "Weihnachten 1972", 20 cm

Royal Tettau Christmas plate 1972 shows an atmospheric winter scene in deep blue shades with warm points of light from the city's windows and lanterns. In the motif, a horse-drawn carriage can be seen moving through a snow-covered urban environment with a church tower, old buildings, and people on the street. In the foreground on the right stands a small figure looking toward the carriage, while a dog follows along in the scene. This gives the plate a calm and narrative Christmas atmosphere, where winter evening, city life, and holiday meet in a classic motif that fits beautifully into a collection of vintage Christmas plates.

This is the German edition of the Royal Tettau Christmas plates, and on the front it says in gold lettering "Weihnachten 1972". The plate is manufactured by Royal Tettau, Germany for the Scandinavian market and measures approx. 20 cm in diameter. On the back it is stated that the plate is produced in a limited number, which makes it extra interesting for collectors of Tettau Christmas plates and older Christmas porcelain. All plates in the series have a hanger glued firmly to the back and are therefore ready to be put up on the wall as part of the Christmas decorations.

An older Christmas plate like this brings both history, tradition, and personality into the home. It can be hung up alone or combined with other years to create a lively wall with winter motifs and nostalgic Christmas atmosphere. At the same time, it can also be used as a plate on the Christmas table, where it adds character and narrative to the table setting. For you, who appreciate porcelain with history and would like to give classic craftsmanship new life, this Royal Tettau Christmas plate from 1972 is a charming and sustainable choice.
