Royal Tettau Christmas plate 1988, winter town with Christmas market, 20 cm

Royal Tettau Christmas plate 1988 shows an atmospheric town motif in winter attire, where the snow lies thick on roofs, trees and the square. In the middle of the motif, a tall, Gothic church spire rises above the old buildings, while people gather around stalls and lights in the square. The large fir tree in the foreground emphasizes the Christmas atmosphere, and the small figures bring the picture to life with the feeling of a busy Christmas market in a historic town. The colors move beautifully between deep blue shades, warm windows and white layers of snow, which together give the plate the classic expression many associate with a traditional Christmas plate from Tettau.

On the front appears the inscription "Julen 1988" in gold lettering, which indicates that this is the Scandinavian variant, produced for the Scandinavian market. The Christmas plate is produced by Royal Tettau, Germany, and on the back it is stated that it was produced in a limited quantity. This makes it interesting for collectors, but also for you who simply appreciate Christmas decorations with motif, history and a classic expression that returns year after year.

The plate measures approx. 20 cm in diameter and has a hanger glued fast to the back, so it is ready to be put up on the wall right away. It can be hung alone as part of the Christmas decoration or be included in a collection of Christmas plates with different year vintages and motifs. At the same time, it can also be used as a plate on the Christmas table, if you wish to bring a little extra atmosphere into the table setting.

Older Christmas plates like this are also a fine choice for you who appreciate preserving good craftsmanship and giving classic design new life. A Christmas plate with history adds personality to the home and easily becomes part of the traditions one looks forward to bringing out every December.
