Royal Tettau Christmas anniversary plate 1981, winter town with horse-drawn carriage, 20 cm

Royal Tettau Christmas anniversary plate from 1981 shows an atmospheric winter scene with the town's houses and towers bathed in the blue shades of the evening darkness. In the middle of the motif, a horse-drawn carriage comes through the snow-covered street, while people move between the buildings, and lights in the windows create warmth in the cold winter landscape. It is a motif with calm, movement and classic Christmas atmosphere, where the fine details bring the plate to life every time you look at it.

The dark blue picture surface stands out beautifully against the light border and the decorative gold edge, which emphasizes the traditional expression that many collectors appreciate about Tettau Christmas plates. Here you get a Christmas plate that functions both as a collector's item and as a decorative porcelain plate with a distinctly nostalgic character. It fits beautifully into a collection of Christmas plates, but can also hang alone and create a winter atmosphere in the home in December.

The Christmas plate is made by Royal Tettau, Germany, for the Scandinavian market and measures approx. 20 cm in diameter. On the back it is stated that the plate is produced in a limited number, which makes it extra interesting for collectors of older Christmas plates and porcelain with history. All plates in the series have a hanger glued firmly to the back, so it is ready to be put up on the wall right away.

As an older Christmas plate, it also has the special charm that comes with porcelain created to last for many years. It is a fine way to bring classic craftsmanship and reuse into the home, while also making room for things with history and personality. The plate can be used as wall decoration at Christmas time, included in a collection or used as a plate on the table, if one wishes to let it become part of the year's Christmas table setting.
