Royal Tettau Christmas plate 1983 "Christmas 1983", balcony motif, 20 cm

Royal Tettau Christmas plate 1983 is an atmospheric Christmas plate with a classic winter motif, where a small group of musicians and children stand on a snow-covered balcony and play out over the city. The golden inscription "Christmas 1983" is seen on the front and emphasizes the Scandinavian edition of the plate. In the motif, the warm lights in the windows, the snow-covered railing, the fir tree, and the deep blue evening landscape create a calm and nostalgic Christmas atmosphere, while the distant mountains give the scene extra depth.

It is precisely this narrative pictorial world that makes a Tettau Christmas plate more than a decoration. Here one senses both the winter cold and the lively Christmas joy when the horn music sounds from the balcony above the snow-covered rooftops. The motif fits beautifully into a collection of Christmas plates, but can also stand alone as a decorative wall plate in December, where it adds tradition, color, and history to the home.

The Christmas plate is made by Royal Tettau, Germany, for the Scandinavian market and measures approx. 20 cm in diameter. On the back it is stated that the plate is produced in a limited number, which makes it interesting for collectors of older Christmas plates and porcelain with a vintage year. All plates in the series have a hanger glued to the back, so it is ready to hang on the wall, but it can also be used as a plate on the Christmas table.

As a vintage Christmas plate, it also has the special charm that comes with things created to be brought out year after year. Older porcelain with a Christmas motif gives the home personality and is at the same time a sustainable choice when one chooses quality objects with history over new production. This Royal Tettau Christmas plate is therefore both a collector's item, a Christmas decoration, and a gift idea for anyone who loves classic Christmas traditions.
