Royal Tettau Christmas plate 1982, sleigh ride in winter landscape, 20 cm

Royal Tettau Christmas plate 1982 brings a classic Christmas atmosphere into the home with an evocative winter motif. In the foreground, a horse-drawn sleigh is seen making its way through a snow-covered landscape, where the heavy branches and the blue shimmer in the snow create a calm and fairy-tale-like winter evening. In the background, an illuminated castle or manor rises above the forest, and the contrast between the dark blue sky and the warm windows gives the motif a fine depth. At the bottom of the plate stands the inscription "Julen 1982" in gold-colored lettering.

It is a Christmas plate from Royal Tettau, Germany, produced for the Scandinavian market. The very Danish inscription makes it interesting for collectors of Christmas plates with a Nordic touch, and the motif fits beautifully among classic Christmas decorations with snow, horses, and winter landscapes. On the back it is stated that the plate is produced in a limited number, which emphasizes its character as a collector's item.

The plate measures approx. 20 cm in diameter and has a hanger glued to the back, so it is ready to hang on the wall right away. It functions both as a Christmas decoration and a collector's plate, but can also be used as a plate on the table in December, if one wishes to set the table with porcelain that has history and seasonal character.

Older Christmas plates like this have a special charm because they are created to be brought out year after year. It is exactly the kind of porcelain that gives the home personality and ties memories together across generations. A vintage Royal Tettau Christmas plate is therefore not only a decorative feature, but also a sustainable choice for you who appreciate quality, reuse, and classic Christmas tradition.
