Royal Tettau Christmas plate 1974, German edition "Weihnachten 1974", 20 cm

Royal Tettau Christmas plate 1974 shows an atmospheric winter motif with a snow-covered landscape, where a farm lies in the foreground, while an illuminated church can be seen in the background. The dark blue evening sky creates a calm and almost fairy-tale-like setting for the scene, and in the front of the picture several hares can be seen in the snow by the winding stream. The motif has a classic Christmas atmosphere with both village idyll, winter stillness and small details that bring the plate to life.

This is the German edition of the Christmas plate, and on the front it says in gold letters "Weihnachten 1974". The plate is made by Royal Tettau, Germany, in a series made for the Scandinavian market. It measures approx. 20 cm in diameter, and on the back it is stated that it is produced in a limited quantity. This makes it interesting both for collectors of Christmas plates and for those of you who are fond of porcelain with history and richly detailed decoration.

All plates in the series have a hanger glued fast to the back, so it is ready to go up on the wall as part of the Christmas decorations or in a collection with other annual plates. At the same time, it can also be used as a plate on the table, if you would like to give the Christmas table a more personal and nostalgic touch. Older Christmas plates like this one bring both tradition, enjoyment of use and sustainability into the home, because beautifully crafted porcelain is allowed to live on and create atmosphere year after year.
