Royal Tettau Christmas plate 1976, winter town with church and horses, 20 cm

Royal Tettau Christmas plate from 1976 shows an atmospheric winter scene in blue shades, where a snow-covered town spreads around an illuminated church with towers in the background. In the foreground, there is a large fir tree with heavy snow on the branches, horses in front of a wagon, and several people moving through the street and the square. The warm lights in windows and street lamps stand beautifully against the dark evening sky and give the motif the classic, calm Christmas atmosphere that many collectors appreciate in older Christmas plates.

On the front is the Scandinavian inscription "Julen 1976" in gold lettering. This makes this Royal Tettau, Germany Christmas plate part of the series that was produced for the Scandinavian market. The motif has a traditional narrative to it with town life, winter weather, and festive atmosphere, and the deep cobalt blue color gives the plate the expression that makes Tettau Christmas plates recognizable on the wall or in the collection.

The plate measures approx. 20 cm in diameter, and on the back it is stated that it was produced in a limited number. All plates in the series have a hanger glued to the back, so it is ready to hang up right away. At the same time, it can also be used as a plate on the Christmas table if you want to give a decorative collector's item an active place in the home.

A vintage Christmas plate like this is also a cozy way to bring older porcelain with history further into today's interior decor. It goes well with other Christmas plates, blue and white porcelain, and classic Nordic Christmas, and it is a personal gift idea for collectors or for you who would like to build a Christmas tradition year by year.
