Royal Tettau Christmas plate 1987, church in winter landscape, 20 cm

Royal Tettau Christmas plate 1987 shows an atmospheric winter motif with a white church in the center, surrounded by snow-covered trees, houses, and high mountains in the background. In front of the church there is life on the frozen square, where children and adults move about in the snow, and a sled draws the eye into the scene. The deep blue shades together with the warm light in the windows give the motif a calm and classic Christmas atmosphere, which makes the plate decorative both on its own and as part of a collection of Christmas plates.

On the front is the inscription "Julen 1987" in gold lettering. It is the Scandinavian variant of Royal Tettau's Christmas plate, manufactured in Germany for the Scandinavian market. The motif and the Danish text make it particularly interesting for collectors of Christmas plates with a Nordic character, and on the back it is stated that the plate is produced in a limited number. This gives it extra appeal as a collector's item and as a Christmas decoration with history.

The plate measures approx. 20 cm in diameter and has a hanger glued to the back, so it is ready to go on the wall right away. At the same time, it can also be used as a plate on the Christmas table, if you wish to let it be part of the table setting in December. An older Christmas plate like this is also a fine choice for those who appreciate porcelain with soul and would like to pass on a beautiful piece of applied art instead of choosing new production.

It goes well together with other Christmas plates from the same series or with classic Christmas decorations in blue, white, and dark tones. As a gift, it is ideal for the collector, for a home with a sense of winter motifs, or for someone who is fond of porcelain with both decorative value and a story.
