Royal Tettau Christmas plate 1979, town motif with snow and square, 20 cm

Royal Tettau Christmas plate 1979 shows an atmospheric winter motif from an old town, where the snow has settled heavily on roofs, trees and cobblestones. In the foreground, people can be seen in the square with fir and winter clothing, while the tall houses, the illuminated church in the background and the monument in the middle of the square give the motif depth and a calm, classic Christmas atmosphere. The blue shades in the evening sky stand beautifully with the warm yellow lights in the windows and create the special contrast that makes a Christmas plate like this so decorative in December.

On the front it says "Christmas 1979" in gold lettering, which is an important part of the plate's expression and identity. This Christmas plate is made by Royal Tettau, Germany, and the series was made for the Scandinavian market. On the back it is stated that the plate is produced in a limited quantity, which makes it extra interesting for collectors of Tettau Christmas plates and older Christmas porcelain. The format of approx. 20 cm makes it easy to place both alone and together with other plates on the wall.

All plates in the series have a hanger glued fast on the back, so it is ready to be hung up as part of the Christmas decorations. At the same time, it can also be used as a plate on the table, if you wish to let it be part of a personal table setting with porcelain that has history and character. An older Christmas plate like this is also a fine choice for you who are fond of reuse, classic design and the special joy of giving beautiful craftsmanship new life in the home.

The motif makes it suitable both as a collector's plate, as wall decoration at Christmastime and as a gift for someone who collects Royal Tettau or is fond of traditional Christmas motifs with town setting, snow and nostalgic atmosphere.
