Royal Tettau Christmas plate 1995, "Weihnachten 1995", church, 20 cm

This Royal Tettau Christmas plate from 1995 shows an atmospheric winter motif with a large church in the middle of a snow-covered landscape. In front of the church, people can be seen making their way through the snow, while the trees stand heavy with white, and the dark mountains in the background lift the motif up toward a deep blue night sky with stars. It is a classic Christmas motif with ?????ness, cold, and light gathered in one image, where the warm church building stands in beautiful contrast to the blue winter landscape around it.

On the front, the German inscription "Weihnachten 1995" is written in gold. It is therefore the German edition of the Christmas plate and not the Scandinavian variant with "JULEN". Precisely the inscription is an important detail for collectors, because it clearly distinguishes this version from other editions from the same year. Together, the motif and the text give the plate a traditional expression that fits well into a collection of Christmas plates or as part of the personal Christmas decoration.

The Christmas plate is made by Royal Tettau, Germany, and the series was made for the Scandinavian market. It measures approx. 20 cm in diameter, and on the back it is stated that the plate is produced in a limited quantity. All plates in the series have a hanger glued fast on the back, so it is ready to be put up on the wall straight away. At the same time, it can also be used as a plate on the table, if one wishes to let it be part of the Christmas table setting.

Older Christmas plates like this have a special charm, because they bring both history and tradition with them forward into the homes of today. This makes them a sustainable choice for you who would like to preserve beautiful quality objects and let them create joy year after year. It functions both as a collector's item, Christmas decoration, and a gift idea for the one who is fond of porcelain with motif, history, and seasonal atmosphere.
