Royal Tettau Christmas plate 1972, winter town with horse-drawn carriage, 20 cm

Royal Tettau Christmas plate from 1972 shows an atmospheric winter scene in deep blue shades, where a snow-covered town forms the setting for the calm life of Christmas Eve. In the motif, a horse-drawn carriage is seen making its way through the street, surrounded by buildings with illuminated windows, a church with an onion dome in the background, and small figures moving through the snow. At the front of the picture, a small dog can also be seen, helping to make the scene lively and narrative. It is a classic Christmas plate with the special winter atmosphere that many collectors associate with older Christmas porcelain.

On the front, in gold lettering, it says "Julen 1972", and precisely that Scandinavian inscription is an important part of the plates' charm. This Royal Tettau, Germany Christmas plate was made for the Scandinavian market and combines German porcelain craftsmanship with a motif and an expression that speak directly to Nordic Christmas traditions. On the back, it is stated that the plate is produced in a limited number, which makes it interesting both as a Christmas decoration and as a collector's plate.

The plate measures approx. 20 cm in diameter and has a hanger glued fast to the back, so it is ready to be put up on the wall right away. At the same time, it can also be used as a plate on the Christmas table, where it adds a classic and personal touch to the table setting. Older Christmas plates like this one are made to last a long time, and they bring both history, nostalgia, and sustainable joy into the home when they are given new life year after year.

A Royal Tettau Christmas plate from 1972 is an obvious choice for you who collect Christmas plates, are fond of vintage porcelain, or would like to give a gift with both history and Christmas spirit.
