Arabia Christmas plate 1985 with the motif Town with Christmas atmosphere depicts a winter-clad town, where everyday life and holiday merge into a calm, Nordic moment. This year is designed by Raija Uosikkinen, who is behind the Arabia Christmas plates from 1978 to 1989. The series belongs among the well-known releases from Arabia Finland, and the 1985 edition in particular contains the story that many associate with a Nordic Christmas: the town as a gathering point, the snow as a calm setting and people making their way through the winter day. It is a stoneware plate with sturdy body, so it not only works as wall decoration, but can also be used on the table, for example as a lunch plate at Christmas time.

Our example comes from an old remaining stock of Arabia Christmas plates and is therefore unused. That makes it particularly interesting for you who would like to find older design with history, but in condition without ordinary signs of use. Many of the plates from this remaining stock are still in their original Arabia boxes.
