1965 Bing & Grondahl Christmas plate, designed by Henry Thelander, has the title Bringing home the Christmas Tree. Bing & Grondahl's Chirstmas plate from 1965 depicts a family which pick up their Christmas tree in the woods.In the fore- ground of the plate, we see a roe with its calf watching the family.The wood is here Rebild hills. A central part of these hills were bought buy Danish-Americans in 1911,and passed over to the Danish state. This park is the only park in the world that has been established to celebrate the 4th of July, The American Independence Day. From 1912 the park has been used to celebrate this event every year, with different well known speakers as for instance Victor Borge.
