Royal Copenhagen Santa of the Year 2018 with gift sack

Royal Copenhagen Santa of the Year 2018 with gift sack is an atmospheric Christmas figurine that brings together anticipation, a shower of gifts, and classic Danish Christmas coziness in one motif. The figurine shows Santa in a red suit with a white beard and small round glasses, while he holds his large gray gift sack open. At his feet lie toys and gifts, which emphasize the story of Christmas's busy and joy-filled moments just before the distribution begins.

It is a figurine you feel like bringing out year after year. The clear details bring the motif to life: the pink doll, the blue elephant, the yellow trumpet, the small drum, and the teddy bear next to the sack. Together they create a warm and recognizable Christmas universe that fits beautifully into both classic and modern Christmas decorations. As a Christmas figurine in porcelain, it has both substance, sheen, and the handcrafted character many collectors are fond of.

Santa of the Year is designed by Sven Vestergaard for Royal Copenhagen and belongs to a very sought-after series of Royal Copenhagen Christmas figurines. The series starts in 2001, and a new Santa has since been produced every year. From 2021 onwards, a Mrs. Santa has also been added to the collection. That is precisely why the figurines have become very popular, and there is great demand for these Royal Copenhagen Christmas figurines among both collectors and those who would like to build a personal Christmas tradition at home.

Santa of the Year 2018 works beautifully on its own, but it is also ideal as part of a larger collection with other figurines from the same series. It can be placed on a shelf, in a display cabinet, on a Christmas tray, or together with the rest of the year's Christmas decorations, where it adds color, storytelling, and collecting joy. For many, these older Christmas figurines are also a lovely way to pass on quality design and let beautiful craftsmanship gain new life Christmas after Christmas.
