Royal Tettau Christmas plate 1997 "Weihnachten 1997" 20 cm

Royal Tettau Christmas plate from 1997 shows an atmospheric winter motif with a large, snow-covered castle or palace-like building complex in the background. Under the dark blue night sky, the stars shine over the white domes and roofs, while the snow lies heavily on the trees around the building. In the foreground, a small winter scene can be seen with several people, a child on a sled, and a dog moving across the frozen, bluish snow. The motif has the classic Christmas plate atmosphere with calm, cold, and life at the same time, and the colors in blue, white, and muted warm tones give the plate a fine wintry expression.

This edition is manufactured by Royal Tettau, Germany, and it is made for the Scandinavian market. On the front is the German inscription "Weihnachten 1997", which makes this the German variant of the year's Christmas plate. The series is known for its detailed winter motifs, and on the back it is stated that the plate is produced in a limited quantity. This gives it extra interest for collectors who are fond of Christmas plates with year markings and a clear identity.

The plate measures approx. 20 cm in diameter and has a hanger glued fast on the back, so it is ready to be put up on the wall as part of a Christmas hanging or a collection of older Christmas plates. At the same time, it can also be used as a plate on the table during Christmastime. It is precisely this double function that makes it useful year after year. An older Christmas plate like this brings both history and personality into the home and is a good choice for you who appreciate preserving beautiful craftsmanship and giving classic Christmas decorations new life.
