About the product
1905 Bing & Grondahl Christmas plate, designed by Dahl Jensen, bears the title Anxiety of the coming Christmas Night. Bing & Grondahl's Christmas plate from 1905 depicts a deer standing under a snow covered fir in the Deer Park north of Copenhagen. In 1670 Frederik III enclosed more than two thousand acres of land for his son Christian V for hunting purposes. In 1760 J.G.von Lange introduced new mixtures of trees, and many of the trees that are there now originated from these trees. In the southern part of the Deer Park, we find an amusement park, Dyrehavsbakken. The taxes collected by the State from this amusemant park is used to maintain the woods and to feed the animals in the winter.
