Decorate for Christmas with porcelain Christmas figures
Porcelain figures are easy to integrate into the Christmas decorations you already have. A small elf can stand on the windowsill, an angel can find a place by the candlesticks, and several Christmas figures can be grouped on a shelf or a small table.
Some stick to elves, while others mix Santas, angels, Christmas trees, and other Christmas-themed figures. They don’t need to be from the same series or brand – older figures can easily stand with newer ones, and different sizes make the arrangement more lively.
If you have several Christmas figures, you can group some with fir branches, cones, or candles. Or let a single new elf, angel, or Santa move in among the Christmas decorations you bring out every year.

Royal Copenhagen Pixie elves
The small Pixie elves from Royal Copenhagen consist of a whole elf family with grandfather, grandmother, mother, father, and a bunch of elf children.
This makes the series fun to collect because you can start with a single elf and later expand the family. The elves can stand individually, but it’s also cozy to gather several so the little elf family grows over time.
The elves are small, so they don’t need much space. A couple can stand on a shelf, a glass tray or the windowsill, while a larger family can gather around a small Christmas tree, fir branches, or candles.

Royal Copenhagen Annual Santa, Annual Santa's Wife, and Annual Christmas Tree
Royal Copenhagen has created several series of Christmas figures over the years, with a new edition each year. The Annual Santa is the oldest series and has been released every year since 2001 with Sven Vestergaard as the designer. The first editions stand out among other things with the green Santas from 2001 to 2005, while later years have offered many different small scenes with gifts, wish lists, animals, and Christmas preparations.
In 2021, the Santa was joined by the Annual Santa's Wife, which pairs with the Annual Santa each year. They can be collected as a pair, but the Santa’s Wives also function as their own series.
The Annual Christmas Tree has its own series. Each year, the tree receives new decorations inspired by the Christmas decorations we know from the Christmas tree at home – including Christmas hearts, flags, cones, angels, drums, and small gifts.

Angels in porcelain
Angels also belong to Christmas, and among the Christmas figures, you will find angels in many different versions. Some are simple in white porcelain, while others have colors, gold, and more details.
A single angel can stand by a candle or among fir branches, while several angels can be gathered on a shelf or in the windowsill. They are also good to mix with elves, Christmas trees, and other Christmas porcelain.
If you already have angels, the next one doesn’t have to be identical. Feel free to mix different sizes and expressions – also across brands and periods.

Christmas with Else
Royal Copenhagen’s Else comes in a series of figures with Christmas motifs. Here, Else is among other things with a Christmas tree, gifts, and Christmas stocking, and the figures naturally complement elves, angels, and other Christmas figures.
If you already have Else figures, you can expand your collection with the Christmas editions. But you definitely don’t need to collect Else to have them standing for Christmas.
You can also use the Else figures with other Christmas decorations. For example, place them among candlesticks and small vases with some fir branches, and gather the Christmas decorations in a small display.

Older and discontinued Christmas figures
At DPH, we have traded porcelain for more than 50 years, and a large part of our selection consists of older and used items. This also applies to Christmas figures, where you can find both previous editions and models that have long been discontinued.
This gives you the opportunity to find the figure missing from a collection, but also to discover older Christmas figures you may not have known before. The selection changes continuously as we receive new items.
Many of the discontinued Christmas figures we only have in very few copies. So if you find a particular elf, angel, or Santa you have been looking for, it may be worth acting while we have it or sign up for the waiting list to be notified if we get it again.
